I can help you hold onto precious moments by providing a relaxed and meaningful session that fits your needs. I believe in having fun during the photo session, getting to know you and your family, and creating beautiful photographs and memories you will treasure forever.
Once you get in touch, I will reply with session availability including times and dates. Sessions are scheduled during the golden hour which is two hours before sunset.

After exploring my portfolio and confirming your interest in having me capture your portraits, please take a moment to complete my contact form. Feel free to share your background and your vision for the photos you have in mind. I'm eager to understand the specific details and the creative concepts you'd like to bring to life. To make the most of the optimal natural light, portrait sessions are typically arranged approximately 2 hours prior to sunset. It's worth noting that my schedule tends to fill up 1-2 months ahead, so reaching out sooner will ensure we secure a suitable time slot.

I'll provide you with an online contract to review and sign, marking the official booking of your session upon receipt of your retainer. This is where the exciting planning phase begins. I'll promptly share a comprehensive guide on optimizing your photo experience, which includes a Style Guide for outfit inspiration. For your convenience, you're welcome to text me images of potential outfits, enabling me to offer guidance on clothing choices that photograph exceptionally well. Collaboratively, we'll pinpoint the perfect location for your session, tailored to your preferences, and ideally suited for family portraits if that's the case. Your session journey is about to commence, and I'm thrilled to embark on it together!

I know the day of the shoot can be stressful, but don’t worry! I will guide you and your family through the process, and we will have some fun along the way. The sessions are relaxed and fun, and they capture real emotion between you and your family!
4. GALLERY DELIVERY!
TIME TO TAKE OFF THE VEIL AND SEE THOSE PHOTOS!
7 - 10 days after your session, I will email you a beautiful gallery to review. You can select which photos you would like to purchase, or you can purchase the whole gallery. Your online gallery is password protected, and you can share your personalized gallery link with friends and family. Everything is done online at your convenience.

Now that you have new, beautiful family portraits, it’s time to fill up your home with prints to show off to all your friends and family! You can order professional prints directly from your gallery, which I highly recommend because the quality is unmatched as they come from a professional lab and are of the highest quality and gorgeous!

READY TO BOOK YOUR SESSION?
Let's schedule a quick call so you can share your vision with me and I will provide you with my available dates. I take a limited number of Charlotte photography sessions per month because I want to be able to provide you with a unique and personal experience. To secure your date and time, a signed session agreement must be completed, along with a non-refundable deposit of $100 must be paid. Your deposit is deducted from your selected package total. All Mini-Sessions must be paid in full at booking.
I'm delighted to assist you throughout the entire process. This includes choosing a location, coordinating outfits, and ensuring your family is prepared for an enjoyable and relaxed session. Photography sessions are meant to be a fun and happy experience.
SESSION TIME:
A typical family session usually takes around 45-60 minutes. Sessions with children may take a little longer. My priority is to create beautiful images for your gallery, and if we go over, no worries. Mini-Sessions are a set 20 minute session.
RESCHEDULE POLICY:
Life Happens and if you need to reschedule, please give me 24 hours notice. If you are more than 20 minutes late, and I'm already there, the session will be rescheduled and you will forfeit your deposit. Inclement weather is an automatic reschedule.
GALLERY DELIVERY:
Your proof gallery will be ready for viewing within seven to ten business days following your session. In each gallery, there will be one image that has been fully edited, while the rest will have basic edits applied. Kindly select the images of your choice for full editing. Once you have made your selection, please notify me and allow five to seven days to complete your edits.
Upon the completion of your final edits, a fresh gallery will be provided to you. Here, you will gain access to effortlessly download your print release and all your images with a single click. Additionally, you'll find the convenient option to order prints and an array of artwork directly from your personalized gallery. This seamless approach ensures that your precious memories can be beautifully preserved in tangible formats that truly resonate.

I found CanDee through Facebook and so glad I did! My infant daughter and I did a mommy & me session with her and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This is the first time we worked with a professional photographer and it was worth every penny. We wanted to capture the puppyhood of our goldendoodle and CanDee made it all so easy and smooth. She was very proactive starting from color scheme guidance to getting a squeaky toy to grab our puppy's attention. She was very punctual not only for the shoot but also in setting up the gallery. She was extremely patient with our puppy which was very important to us given he is just a puppy. Overall, it was a very very pleasant evening and a beautiful experience working with Candee.
